This park holds the Wilmington flower market! Been going to it for many years! The only complaints I have is the parking can be chaotic/ disorganized and that at night they need more lighting in the park! When we left yesterday it was pitch black!

Arrived at the Wilmington "Flower" Market today and was truly disappointed. There were only a small amount of herb plants, an area with wilted house plants and an anemic perrenial table. So many tables were empty. The day before Mother's Day. Wooow. Let's put the Flower back into the event.

Used to be a good fair but they have gotten really greedy with how expensive their rides are. Average family can not afford to spend more than $6-8 per ride PER PERSON. And today there were barely any nice flowers for sale, only weed looking things. Plus I am fundamentally opposed to an organization which would sensor its participants based on ideology (leaving out Dr Tanya Hettler). We do not plan on returning.

Such a cute fair! I was pleasantly surprised. Parking was easy, there were plenty of food trucks and vendors, the live music was right next to beer tent which was awesome. Everything was well spread out so you weren’t bumping into people while waiting for your ice cream. Just a picture perfect park, absolutely glad to have it back after some rainy years!

100% Volunteer / 100% Non-profit / Raising money for Delaware Children. This Family traditional event is more than just flowers. Tons of crafts, over a dozen local food vendors, beer and wine garden, rides & games, and of course LIVE entertainment. Always held mother's day weekend (Thurs-Sat only). If you have never attended - YOUR MISSING OUT!
